Following the article that appeared in the Hereford Times, and Ledbury Reporter I would like to expand on why Bromyard currently has the highest precept in the County, and to give an insight into how Town Councillors are striving to reduce it.

HOPE FAMILY and community centre in Bromyard will welcome the Countess of Wessex (pictured) next week. The Centre, in Pannier’s Lane, is on the cusp of a major expansion programme which will see it double in size over the next year.

WE'RE NOMINATED (and we hope it's catching...)!! In April we're off to Sutton Coldfield to the AGM, Supper & Awards Ceremony of NODA (the National Operatic and Dramatic Assoc) to be presented with 2 nomination certificates for 'Best Production 2009' (West Midlands). Who knows, we might even win, but we're delighted to have received our nominations regardless.

Whitbourne Hall on Channel 4


Whitbourne Hall, a stunning Palladian-style Mansion, will be opening its doors on Sunday 18th April, for a magnificent Wedding Open Day.  Guests will be invited to look around this beautiful Hall and see for themselves how it has become an impressive wedding venue, after being visited by the formidable Ruth Watson for the Channel 4 programme ‘Country House Rescue’.

Exciting History Project

Developments at Age Concern

 We are currently 'exploring merger' between Age Concerns Leominster, Ledbury, Bromyard and Hereford. There will be no impact here for clients for many months so better to focus on our own services in Bromyard and District for the time being.

We are planning an Election in College on May 6th. We have in place a Labour Candidate, Hattie Lloyd; Lib Dem, Daniel Masters and Conservative, Duncan Brooks. They are aged 15, in Year 10.
