The Amazing Keith Lane visited Strensham Air Base on Monday 14th December accompanied by his wife Josie and daughter Trina to hand over a cheque for £16,000 to the Midlands Air Ambulance Air Crew.

A dog has been rescued after it became trapped in an underground water pipe in Herefordshire.

The eight-year-old lurcher was stuck in the Bromyard area of Stoke Lacy on Christmas morning.

DRM Supports Hospice

DRM Coach Service (Dave Morris) has announced that from Monday 21st December until Sunday January 3rd 2010 they will give half of all the money they take to St. Michaels’s Hospice, Bartestree.

 
Bromyard Town Council meetings...

There will be a meeting of the Planning Committee of the Town Council  on Monday 2009 at 7.15pm in the Council Chamber, Council Offices, Rowberry Street, Bromyard. Plans may be viewed from 7:10pm. This will be followed by a meeting of the Town Council at 7:30pm .

RURAL shops facing difficult times are being given the chance to secure some much-needed funds from Herefordshire Council.

 
Proposed Parking Ban gets massive support.

Bernard_Hunt89% of respondents to a recent survey were in favour of a parking ban on the Tenbury Road.
The survey was funded and administered by long serving County Councillor Bernard Hunt. (pictured) There was a very good response to the survey with over 500 completed questionnaires.   Results were audited by the Town Council.

 
Recycle your tree

WITH the festive season almost in full swing, Herefordshire Council is encouraging Bromyard residents to re-cycle or re-use their Christmas trees rather than putting them into landfill once the big day has been and gone.
