 THREE of the best tourism businesses in Worcestershire and Herefordshire have reached the finals of the 2010 Enjoy England Awards for Excellence, sponsored by the Caravan Club. Hidelow House Cottages at Acton Beauchamp, near Bromyard, and Poston Mill Caravan Park at Peterchurch, near Hereford, will go head-to-head with attractions and destinations from across the country in a bid to win their category.

A ROYAL visitor to HOPE Family Centre saw Bromyard shine this afternoon. A warm welcome greeted the Countess of Wessex, wife of Prince Edward, as she met children, parents and staff at the Hereford Road centre.

There's no tradition of circus performing in Tristan Lewis's family.  The father of the young man from Bromyard is a journalist and biographer, and his mother's an educational psychologist.  But 23-year-old Tristan is about to star in Zippo's Circus, currently preparing to open in Birmingham.
