The Chamber has agreed to pay for a new banner to go across High St, encouraging everyone to support local businesses by buying in Bromyard. "I've heard it said you can get everything you need right here in Bromyard" said Chamber chairman Geoff McGladdery.  "We have great local businesses supplying everything from a six-inch nail to an ox-roast.  We're looking for a phrase or slogan to remind everyone that, for most of life's essentials, you don't need to go chasing off to the big city, the best of goods and services are right here on our doorsteps". 

"There's a £20 voucher on offer for the person who comes up with the right slogan", he added.  The voucher can be spent in any Bromyard shop.
