Appeal for Information

Break In. A property just off the Winslow Road area of Bromyard was broken into during the early hours of Sat 5th Jan 2013 (around half past midnight).  The occupant was not at home at the time.  A white male was seen in the area around the same time, carrying something under his arm.  We would like to know who this person is.  If anyone has any further information, please phone 101 quoting incident no 0012N 050113.

Fortunately burglary is relatively rare in Bromyard and most break-ins are opportunistic.  However, there are a few simple precautions that you can take to significantly reduce the chance of your home being burgled: * Lock your windows and doors.

* Do not leave car keys, mail or ID documents on display near to windows, doors or letterboxes. * Leave a light on whilst you are out during the evening or use timer switches to turn lights on if it will be dark before you get home.

* Do not leave tools or ladders lying around in your garden which could be used to break into your home.* When going away, ask a trusted friend or neighbour to check on your house, collect mail, open/close curtains.

Kind regards,

Further to Bromyard Mode's post, QEHC has now had two "visits". As you may know, we had most of the lead removed from the Music dept room. The latest was at the end of last week with an attempt to break into the water tank room. I will keep you posted.
