BROMYARD band the Misers are celebrating after a double chart victory on social networking website Myspace.com.
They fought off stiff competition from major label advertising campaigns to reach number one in both the Americana and Country charts.
The Misers, with Neil Ivison on vocals and guitar, Adam Barry on keys and vocals and also featuring Bromyard musicians Karl and Shane Dixon for live performances, are no strangers to chart success having achieved number one in the Unsigned Chart in July.
Neil said: “We’ve had incredible support from the local area since we released the album and the double number one tops off a great first year for us. Lilly Allen, Arctic Monkeys and Hereford’s own Ellie Goulding have attracted the attention of the industry through Myspace so hopefully it’ll work for us too.”
The Misers debut ‘Amplified Life Stories’ is available worldwide on iTunes.
The band play Huntingdon Hall, Worcester on Saturday, February 6. For tickets and information visit worcesterlive.co.uk.
