Posted on December 29, 2009 by Midlands Air Ambulance The Amazing Keith Lane visited Strensham Air Base on Monday 14th December accompanied by his wife Josie and daughter Trina to hand over a cheque for £16,000 to the Midlands Air Ambulance Air Crew.
The cheque for £16,000 brought Keith’s total fund raising efforts for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity to £201,000 over the last 17 years. Keith was also acknowledged for his amazing fund raising efforts in 2002 with a visit to Buckingham Place to be honoured with an MBE.
Keith recently suffered from a stroke which has left him wheelchair bound and without the tremendous support from his family could not have reached this amazing total!
With his wife Josie and his family by his side, the ex Postman from Bromyard, Herefordshire, is a truly remarkable person and the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity cannot express in words the gratitude for all the support given by Keith and his family.
